How much business funding can you qualify for?
Business funding at RFG runs from $5,000 to $5,000,000. See how revenue, time in business and bank deposits shape the amount you qualify for.
Royal Funding Group arranges business funding from $5,000 to $5,000,000, with up to $5 million available unsecured. Where your business lands in that range comes down to three things: your monthly revenue, how long you have been in business, and what your bank deposits show. Your credit and what you plan to do with the money shape the final offer too.
The range, and why it is so wide
A neighborhood salon covering a slow month and a regional trucking company buying ten new rigs both need business funding. They do not need the same amount. That is why our range starts at $5,000 and goes to $5,000,000.
The amount you qualify for is not a fixed number pulled from a chart. It is a judgment about what your business can comfortably repay based on how money moves through it today. Funders want you to succeed with the payments, so they size offers to your actual cash flow.
What drives the amount
Monthly revenue
Revenue is the biggest single factor. A business bringing in more each month can support larger payments, so it qualifies for more. When you apply, one of the five questions is your average monthly revenue. Give an honest number. Your bank statements will confirm it, and an accurate figure gets you a realistic offer faster.
Time in business
We fund businesses with 12 or more months in business. Past that point, a longer track record generally helps. A business that has been through several busy seasons and slow seasons has shown it can handle both, and that history supports larger amounts and longer terms.
Bank deposits
Your recent business bank statements are where the real story lives. Underwriters look at:
- Deposit consistency. Steady deposits month after month carry more weight than one big month followed by quiet ones.
- Average daily balance. A healthy cushion in the account shows you are not running on empty.
- Overdrafts and returned items. Frequent negative days or bounced payments make funders more cautious.
- Existing obligations. If you are already paying on other financing, that affects how much more your cash flow can support.
Credit
We work across a wide range of credit scores and look at the whole business, not only the owner’s score. Credit still matters for the amount. Owners with scores of 650 or higher get the best pricing and the highest limits. Scores from 550 to 650 are a good fit for most programs. Under 550, options may be limited.
What the money is for
The use of funds shapes which program fits, and each program has its own natural size. Covering payroll through a slow month is a smaller, shorter need. Opening a second location is a larger, longer one. Your specialist matches the amount to the purpose so you are not borrowing more than you need or less than the job requires.
How the programs line up by size
- Working capital handles everyday needs like payroll, inventory, seasonal gaps, repairs, marketing and taxes, on terms from 5 to 12 months.
- A business line of credit goes up to $5 million. You draw as little as $1,000 at a time and pay only on what you use, so the limit is there when you need it.
- Term loans cover larger amounts over 12 to 48 months for renovations, large equipment, hiring, refinancing and inventory.
- Expansion financing goes up to $5 million for new locations, acquisitions, franchise units, fleet growth and large contracts.

A hypothetical example
Say a landscaping company has been operating for three years. Deposits are strong from spring through fall and lighter in winter, but they never stop. The owner wants $60,000 to buy two new mowers and hire a seasonal crew before spring.
A specialist would look at the full year of deposits, not just the slow months, and see a business that reliably earns through its busy season. That pattern supports the request. If the owner asked for an amount the deposits could not support, the specialist would say so and suggest a smaller amount now, or a line of credit to draw from as the season builds.
How to qualify for more
You cannot change your time in business overnight, but you can shape the rest:
- Run all business income through your business bank account so your statements show your full revenue.
- Keep a cushion in the account and avoid overdrafts in the months before you apply.
- Keep business and personal spending separate.
- Pay existing obligations on time.
- Know exactly what the money is for and what it will produce.
